Solution

Question No 01:

MS Access

Procedure:

 

1.      The system, I was assigned was already Logged In. I clicked on start button and start menu appeared.

2.      A clicked on All Programs and pointed to MS Office Folder and clicked on MS Access2007.

3.      On Opening page of MS Access, I clicked on Blank Database and write “CMS” in file name box and clicked on Create Button.

4.      On Side bar, there was a Table named Table1.

5.      Right clicked on Table1 and clicked on “Design View” to open the table in design view.

6.      Table name Dialog box appeared. I wrote “student” as table name and click OK. Table is opened in design view.

7.      I entered all the column names “ std_id ,  std_name  , std_address , std_phone” and their respective data types in design view.

8.      I Selected std_id Colum and right clicked, an options list appeared. I clicked on Primary key to make std_id Primary Key.

9.      Selected Table and Clicked on create Tab. Create Ribbon Opened. In Forms group, Clicked on Form Icon. A Form named student is created as given in the questions.

10.  I opened the student Form and entered three data records as given in the question.

11.  Finally I Pressed CTRL + S to save the changes.

Question No 02:

Operating Systems

 

           1.      How to change the password of the current user

1.      Click on Start button, and from Start Menu, clicked on Control Panel.

2.      In Control Panel Clicked on User Accounts and family safety.

3.      In User Accounts and family safety dialog clicked on user accounts.

4.      Selected the account and clicked on “change your password”. Change password page appeared.

5.      Enter old and new password and clicked on change password. Password is changed.

         2.      How to check total RAM of the System

1.      Right Click “Computer” Icon. Options list appeared. Clicked on Properties.

2.       In  System Info Area, Information of Microprocessor  and Installed RAM is given.

         3.      How to recover a deleted folder.

1.      Deleted folder will be moved to Recycle Bin.

2.      Double clicked on Recycle bin Icon on desktop. Recycle Bin Opened.

3.      Pointed to the deleted folder and right clicked. Options menu List appeared.

4.      Clicked on “Restore” Option to recover the deleted folder.

5.      The folder is restored on the position from where it was deleted.
